• Most batteries use zinc air technology. The battery is activated by the access of oxygen to the miniature holes under the colored sticker. Therefore, do not peel off the protective sticker if you are not going to use the battery.
• After peeling off the protective sticker, the battery is activated within 1 minute. Only then insert it into the battery compartment in the hearing aid.
• After removing the sticker, the battery continues to discharge, even if you try to protect the battery by opening the hearing aid door. However, battery drain will be reduced to a minimum in this way.
• Battery life in a hearing aid depends on individual hearing loss, ambient environmental conditions and battery usage time.
• Dispose of the batteries in the recycling center. In our organization, we recycle batteries in cooperation with EKOBAT.
• The color of the battery sticker is important, so remember which color you use - yellow, brown, orange, or blue.
• It is important to store batteries at room temperature, do not carry activated batteries loosely in your pocket where they may come into contact with metal objects, coins or keys. These can short-circuit the battery poles and thus cause them to discharge.

Our organization offers batteries from proven professional manufacturers Rayovac, Varta - (Power one), Energizer and Duracell.
Some hearing aid manufacturers (eg Widex, Signia and others) buy batteries from the above manufacturers and just add their company logo on the packaging.
